Earlier in May I spent a week in the US doing various pieces of delivery with and for our New York office. I spent time in Toronto (yes, I know 'technically' that's Canada), Minneapolis and New York, with brief stops in Chicago and Washington. Here's ten things I learnt from that trip.
1. Overhead locker space on a plane illustrates the tragedy of the commons.
Individuals try to fit everything into their carry-on bags. These are just a bit bigger than the regulations. There is much scrambling to make sure your bag is in the locker.
2. You don't need cash anymore.
